«Физмат прорыв»
The «Физмат прорыв» project was launched in September 2024 on the initiative of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is aimed at developing school students' abilities in mathematics and the exact sciences, as well as increasing the number of applicants enrolling in the country's technical universities.

The project's organizers include the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Innopolis University, and Kazan Federal University.

The «Физмат прорыв» festivals in Almetyevsk and Naberezhnye Chelny brought together 1,300 participants from 60 schools.
The program featured:
— Interactive workshops, roundtables, and lectures on physics and mathematics for school students
— Methodological seminars and a screening of the documentary film In Love with Mathematics for educators
The speakers included Russian scientists, professors, and researchers.

A film seminar at the "Birthplace of Innovations" center of NUST MISIS brought together representatives of the film industry and the scientific community. Experts discussed new ways to tell stories about science and scientists through cinema.
At the pitch session, Rector of Innopolis University Alexander Gasnikov spoke about outstanding researchers of the past and presented ideas for popularizing narratives about scientists.
The event was organized by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Culture, and the autonomous non-profit organization "National Priorities."
865 Students and Teachers from 46 Schools: The Sixth «Физмат прорыв» Festival Takes Place in Tatarstan
On Mathematician's Day, the Bashir Rameev IT Park hosted free lectures on mathematics and physics by Russian scientists, along with 18 educational stations, for 637 school students in grades 5–11 from Kazan and the Vysokogorsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Zelenodolsky, Laishevsky, and Pestrechinsky districts of Tatarstan. Additionally, 228 educators who lead mathematics circles and physics-and-mathematics classes across 43 districts of the republic participated in methodological seminars on applying modern technologies in teaching.

A New Bachelor's Profile in the Mathematical Foundations of AI
The bachelor's profile "Mathematical Foundations of Artificial Intelligence" is an educational program designed for those who aspire not only to work with artificial intelligence but to build it. This field extends beyond the scope of classical programming and demands the acquisition of fundamental scientific knowledge in mathematics, tailored to the domain of AI.
Among the faculty are Rector of the Russian IT university Alexander Gasnikov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexey Savvateev, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ivan Oseledets, Federal Professor of Mathematics Andrey Raigorodsky, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeny Tyrtyshnikov, and others.

The project's goal is to draw young people into the world of knowledge by leveraging existing resources and infrastructure.

The "Volga Trail" is a network of scientific routes where school students and families will be able to explore science through excursions and online courses, making use of existing infrastructure.
