Физмат классы
- ABOUT THE PROGRAM«Физико-математические классы» — is a project for students in grades 7–9 that helps them prepare for choosing a future profession. These classes devote more time to mathematics, and in addition to algebra and geometry, students study probability theory and statistics. More attention is also given to physics or computer science.
Special textbooks and learning materials have been created for the physics-and-mathematics classes. Teachers also undergo special training.
Twenty schools in Tatarstan are already participating in this project. Its distinguishing feature is that physics-and-mathematics classes can be implemented in regular schools. This means that to receive a strong mathematics education, students do not need to pass difficult entrance competitions to leading lyceums or move to another region.

CLASS FORMAT

An advanced education program in accordance with the updated Federal State Educational Standards (FGOS) - Weekly study plan: 8 hours of mathematics + 2 hours of related subjects
- Activities: Olympiads, tournaments, festivals, lectures, participation of universities and leading scientists
- A resource center and a mentor teacher as support
- Assessment based on the results of independent diagnostics, Olympiads, and the Basic State Exam (after grade 9)
